Casting: PSA Commercial

We are casting several non-union roles (principal and feature) for a national PSA Commercial. All talent must be strong actors and have the ability to convey emotions without speaking. Improv ability is a plus. Pay varies depending on role. Shoots will be very short, typically 2 hours or less.

Burglar
Age 30-40 (Caucasian-Male) Face must have character/suspicious look to it. Able to deliver slight comedic timing/improv yet also maintain realism.

Disappointed Woman
Age 20-35 (Any Ethnicity-Female) Should look appealing, fresh face – everyday good looks…doesn’t have to be a model type. Able to convey disappointment but still remain likeable.

Clunker Car Guy
Age 20-35 (Any Ethnicity-Male) Great facial expressions. Internal confidence. Must be able to convey message without speaking.

Small Business Owner
Age 40+ (African American-Male) Sophisticated look. A business owner that works out of home office. Paying bills in home office.

Online Dater
Age 23-35 (Any Ethnicity-Female) Very attractive woman going on a blind-date. Her expressions are a sure-tell for what she is thinking. Must appear very sweet initially.

Overly Confident Man
Age 35+ (Any Ethnicity-Male) Slightly to moderately overweight, comedic type. Able to be energetic yet subtle. Balding/comb-over hair a plus. Confident/Arrogant. He thinks he is much better looking than he is.

College Students
Age 20-25 (1 Male & 1 Female – Any Ethnicity) Slightly preppy, studious types. Will be in a library.

Elementary School Students
Ages 8-14 (All Ethnicities – M/F) Students sitting in class looking confused/bewildered.

Testimonial Givers
Any Ages (Any Ethnicity – M/F) Must be able to deliver a truthful and impassioned voice representing everyday people. MUST BE ACTUAL CABLE OWNERS.

As business has been expanding we realized we needed a smooth and easy, yet professional way to solicit clients and prepare and finalize proposals. We wanted to do this on our own, but we found a great platform that we wanted to share with you all called Bidsketch.com!

We were recommended this online proposal writing application from a colleague, who helped us realize that we did not NEED to take our time (time=money) away from producing our video content to work on the very time consuming proposal creation and management. He showed us how we needed to make this process as easy for ourselves as possible, without compromising on the content or professionalism of our proposals. We wholeheartedly agreed!

He introduced us to Bidsketch! Now there is a small monthly fee…If you know us we like to do a lot of things ourselves, especially if we can save a few bucks doing so. So we were initially going to pass on the platform without giving it a try, as we figured we could continue individually preparing our proposals/contracts internally. HOWEVER, we decided that we might as well give the 14 Day FREE TRIAL a shot…and so GLAD we did!

For about $20 a month this service is quite a TIME SAVER! In our line of work TIME is of the essence! Anything we can do to make our lives easier and more effective is definitely worth it…especially when it helps you make MORE MONEY! Bidsketch gives you the added style and visual impact to impress each of your potential client, and offers a platform that easily allows you to create templates, re-usable sections, and to brand your proposals very simply!

We began by migrating some text from previous documents into Bidsketch’s “sections” which you can later piece together the sections you need to create a full document (although they will do it for you if you like).

One very cool factor about Bidsketch is that, you can select the pre-fabricated “sections” and easily formulate a new proposal in a matter of seconds. I do wish that the Financial “sections” allowed improved functionality to perform some mathematical formulas (as in excel). Nonetheless they do add/calculate your figures together. Another exciting feature is that you can use their [codes] to re-brand an existing proposal for another client. For instance, in your sections you can mention the [clients_name], and when you migrate that section into a new proposal it will automatically adjust the script to whatever the clients name is for that particular proposal!

I can’t tell you how many times I used to worry about making the mistake of leaving an old clients name in a new document.  Or how many times I actually made that error even when I thought I was so cautious! Bidsketch make it virtually impossible! THANK YOU!

You can customize the colors, style, and so much more…which just a few clicks. You can even MANAGE your proposals online and interact with your clients very easily as Bidsketch smoothly integrates comments and changes from your clients. You can also have them sign the document online…which is legally binding! Another GREAT feature is you can see how often your client has viewed the document and take note of their activity with your proposal, which def helps you gauge their level of interest among other things!

During our 14 Day Free Trial, TWO of THREE proposals we created were accepted, with the third one close to being signed and accepted! Honestly, each of the clients have been thoroughly impressed and personally noted how professional our proposals are! One even asked us how we did it! I think this makes a HUGE difference. When clients feel that you are taking the time to handcraft a document for them and that they are receiving a level of professionalism that they may have never received from others…that can be all the motivation they need to accept your proposal right away!

The only issues I’ve had were the cost…I think the monthly price point could be a bit lower (as it almost scarred me off, but then again I’m kinda cheap lol),  it’s not going to break the bank though.   Also, right now unless you download the PDF you have to have internet access to view or use Bidsketch. It would be nice if they had a downloadable version for you computer that could sync with your account…or an smartphone app to work remotely.

All in all, I would give Bidsketch a 9.5 out of 10 right now! So check it out and give it a free trial! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed and may even get a few bids during your trial! Can’t beat that!!
